The spirit of teamwork came alive at IIUM Kuantan as nearly 700 participants gathered for IMSC Run 2026 on 22 August 2026.
Organised by IIUM Medical Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd, the event was held in conjunction with IMSC’s 10th anniversary. It brought together staff members, families, members of the IIUM community, corporate participants and other runners in a shared effort to promote health and strengthen relationships.
Participants took part in several activities, including the 3km, 5km and 10km runs, as well as a zumba session and lucky draw. The different categories allowed participants of various ages and fitness levels to join the celebration.
Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IIUM Holdings Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Haji Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak, officiated the 10km run by flagging off the participants. He also joined the 10km category and later presented prizes to winners from several categories.
His participation reflected the importance of shared activities in strengthening engagement across IIUM Holdings Group. The event provided an opportunity for the senior management, heads of companies, heads of departments and employees to come together outside their usual work environment.
The prize-giving session added another memorable moment to the event as winners were recognised for their achievement. More importantly, the occasion allowed participants to celebrate their effort and enjoy the event together.
IMSC Run 2026 marked more than a decade of service by IIUM Medical Specialist Centre. It also reflected the strong connection among the IIUM Holdings Group, its partners and the wider community.
