IIUM Qurban Programme Supports 350 Recipients at Gombak Campus
A total of 130 staff and student volunteers from the International Islamic University Malaysia supported the Qurban Programme at the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences, Gombak Campus.
The programme was organised by the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque Office, IIUM Gombak, in collaboration with Koperasi UIAM Berhad. Thirteen cattle were sacrificed for distribution to identified recipients.
Community Service During Aidiladha
Volunteers supported the slaughtering, processing, packing and distribution of qurban meat. A cooking activity was also held to prepare food for the public.
Meat was distributed to 350 recipients through an earlier coupon system, including students who remained on campus. Three cattle were contributed by ikhlas.com, Ayam Gepuk Top Global and Masjid Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah UIAM. Read the original post.
