Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak joined IIUM Holdings Sdn Bhd on 8th January 2024 as Group Chief Executive Officer and was subsequently appointed to the Board of Directors on 1st October 2024, whereupon he was designated as Group Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer.

In his role as Group Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak brings extensive experience and transformative leadership across diverse sectors, including education, infrastructure, services, and healthcare. He oversees nine subsidiaries under IIUM Holdings’ portfolio, driving sustainable growth and strategic alignment within the International Islamic University Malaysia’s (IIUM) ecosystem.

Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak holds an MBA in General Management from the University of Warwick – Warwick Business School (1995–1996), where he gained consulting experience in mortgage pricing at NatWest Mortgage Services in Birmingham. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Houston (1988–1991), where he actively contributed as Secretary of the Finance Organization.

Throughout his career, Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak has held notable leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer at Golden Pharos Berhad, where he successfully implemented a turnaround strategy for a state government-linked company in the natural resources sector. His experience spans leading corporate transformations and strategic initiatives at DRB-HICOM, Pos Malaysia, and UEM Group Berhad. His multi-sectoral expertise and forward-looking leadership continue to strengthen IIUM Holdings’ commitment to institutional excellence and sustainable impact.
