Gombak, 7 January 2023 – A total of 1,000 graduates of International Islamic College (IIC) in various fields at Degree, Diploma, Certificate and Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (TVET) levels covering six (6) faculties and a Pusat Bertauliah at IIC received their respective scrolls at the IIC 14th Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, 7th January 2023.
The convocation ceremony was held ceremoniously at the IIUM Cultural Activity Center (CAC), Gombak Campus. The opening of the ceremony was officiated by Ke Bawah Khaus Yang Teramat Mulia Tunku Syed Razman Bin Tunku Syed Idrus Al-Qadri, Tunku Besar Tampin, the Royal Patron of IIC.
In the same ceremony, His Highness Tunku Besar Tampin agreed to present some of the honorary awards to graduates. The excellency awards were granted to 24 outstanding graduates according to the programme and at their respective levels.
Meanwhile, the IIC 14th Convocation Ceremony also witnessed and celebrated the first 32 graduates of Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (TVET) programme. These graduates are among hundreds of students under the supervision of the Pusat Bertauliah Kolej Islam Antarabangsa since its establishment in early 2022.
