Kuala Lumpur, June 12, 2024 – IIUM Educare once again brought the spiritual journey of Hajj to life for its young learners through the annual Young Hajj event. This unique simulation aims to educate and inspire children about the significance of Hajj, one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from children, who donned Ihram attire and engaged in various activities that simulate the actual Hajj pilgrimage. The little pilgrims performed Tawaf, Sa’i, and even participated in a symbolic stoning of the Jamarat, all within the safe and controlled environment of the IIUM campus.
Parents and educators were present to guide and support the children, ensuring that the experience was both educational and enjoyable. The event not only provided a practical understanding of Hajj rituals but also instilled a sense of spiritual awareness and religious commitment in the young participants.
