IIUM Holdings Honours Dhuyufurrahman Ahead of Hajj 1447H
GOMBAK – IIUM Holdings Group of Companies organised a special gathering to honour its Dhuyufurrahman who will be performing the Hajj pilgrimage for the 1447H season. Held on Friday, 24 April 2026, at The Royale Banquet Hall, IIUM Cultural Centre, the event was organised to pray for the departing pilgrims while also serving as the 2026 IIUM Holdings Workplace Ukhuwah Strengthening Session.
The event was attended by members of the Group Board of Directors, senior management, and employees from various departments, creating a warm and meaningful atmosphere. Combining the Dhuyufurrahman appreciation ceremony with a community potluck reflected the organisation’s strong sense of unity. The gathering also gave employees the opportunity to connect with one another while sharing meals prepared together.
The programme began with a welcoming address by YBhg. Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IIUM Holdings. This was followed by a tazkirah titled Ibrah Haji, delivered by Ustaz Abdul Karnaen bin Hakim from IIUM Schools. The session focused on the mental and spiritual preparation required of those selected as IIUM Holdings Dhuyufurrahman.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of commemorative gifts to the prospective Hajj pilgrims as a symbol of the company’s support. The presentation was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Suzana Idayu Wati Osman, accompanied by YBhg. Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak and YBhg. Academician Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail. The event also included the presentation of personal zakat by YBhg. Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin to the IIUM Endowment Fund and Puan Hafina binti Mahidi as part of efforts to support community welfare.
The management hopes this initiative to honour the IIUM Holdings Dhuyufurrahman will continue to inspire and motivate employees. They also pray that all pilgrims are blessed with good health throughout their time in the Holy Land and are granted a Hajj mabrur. May the spirit of ukhuwah strengthened through this programme continue to drive the future success of the entire IIUM Holdings Group of Companies.
