IMSC Leads Anti-Corruption Culture, Strengthens Integrity of the IIUM Holdings Group
KUANTAN: IIUM Medical Specialist Centre (IMSC) has taken a proactive step to strengthen an ethical work culture through the Integrity Day 1.0 Programme, which saw IIUM Holdings Group staff take an anti-corruption pledge.
The initiative, led by an IIUM Holdings subsidiary in collaboration with IKOP Pharma and Daya Bersih, was organised to promote transparent, accountable and high-performing corporate governance practices in line with the sustainability aspirations of the organisation.
As a specialist healthcare provider dealing directly with the community, IMSC recognises that integrity and trust are the main pillars in maintaining patient confidence.
The programme is a clear manifestation of the firm stance taken by IMSC and the IIUM Holdings Group against any form of corruption, malpractice or misconduct in daily service delivery.
The highlight of the programme was the Anti-Corruption Pledge (IBR) Ceremony, led personally by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the IIUM Holdings Group, Datuk Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak.
This step reflects the full commitment of the top leadership of the Group in guiding the organisation towards a professional and trusted working environment.
The ceremony was also witnessed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Pahang Deputy Director (Prevention), Shazleen Md. Noh, and the MACC Pahang Head of Public Bodies Integrity Investigation Branch, Siti Halimatus Saadiah Zuhari.
Through the organisation of Integrity Day 1.0, the IIUM Holdings Group hopes it will serve as a catalyst for the continuous cultivation of good values, while setting a new benchmark in governance for the healthcare and corporate sectors of the nation. – UTUSAN
