A Collaboration With Radiology Department, Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre (SASMEC)
The Radiology Department of Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre has extended an invitation to IMSC to participate in the Pink October Breast Awareness Program, in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Awareness celebration. IMSC has taken this opportunity and collaborate with Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN) to promote the subsidized Mammogram program. IMSC is proud to be one of the panel hospitals for this program which aims to make mammogram more accessible to the public. This joint effort shows the commitment of IMSC in partnership with LPPKN to raise awareness about breast cancer and to provide crucial healthcare services to the community during this important awareness month.
A Collaboration With Oncology Department, SASMEC
The Oncology Department of Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre has extended a warm invitation to IMSC to be part of the PINKTOBER Breast Cancer Awareness Program that was held on the 30th October 2023. This program is an enlightening an emotionally moving experience as it brings together a diverse panel of experts and cancer survivor to share their insights and stories related to breast cancer.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Kamariah Binti Che Mohamed, Radiologist take the stage to discuss the crucial topic of ‘How to Diagnose Breast Cancer’ and Asst. Prof. Dr. Noor Ezmas Mahno emphasized the importance of early detection of breast cancer in her talk. Other than that, the program also invited a consultant from our strategic partner- Beacon Hospital to deliver a talk on Treatment of Breast Cancer.
The program become more inspirable by a sharing session with Mdm. Tan Siew Kang, breast cancer survivor that brings hope to others who may find themselves on a similar path.
IMSC is honored to be part of this remarkable event, which is set to make a significant impact on the awareness and understanding of breast cancer.
