Gombak, 1 July 2025 – IIUM Holdings Group extends its warmest congratulations to YBhg. Tan Sri Abdul Rashid bin Hussain on his appointment as the 10th President of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
Tan Sri Abdul Rashid brings decades of experience and leadership in Malaysia’s financial and corporate sectors. He is the founding Chairman of RHB Group and has also served as Chairman of Lembaga Tabung Haji. His strategic foresight and governance expertise are widely respected.
With his new role at IIUM, Tan Sri is expected to steer the university toward continued academic innovation and global relevance, grounded in Islamic values. The IIUM Holdings Group welcomes his leadership and looks forward to future collaborations in line with IIUM’s shared vision of Tawhidic education and ummatic excellence.
