IMSC Honours Duyufurrahman Ahead of Hajj Journey
IIUM Medical Specialist Centre (IMSC) held a special Duyufurrahman ceremony to honour members of the IIUM Holdings group and IMSC community who will undertake the Hajj pilgrimage.
The ceremony celebrated the selected pilgrims and conveyed prayers for their health, safety and a meaningful journey to the Holy Land.
The event began with welcoming remarks by Encik Yasser Arafat bin Ishak, Chief Executive Officer of IMSC. Tokens of appreciation were presented to the Duyufurrahman as a symbol of support and remembrance.
Among those honoured were Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IIUM Holdings, and his spouse, Datin Amilita Zaini. Other honourees included IMSC medical specialists, IIUM Holdings group officers and their spouses.
During the event, Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin also presented personal zakat contributions to employees of IMSC, IKOP Pharma and Daya Bersih. The contribution reflected continued care for the welfare of employees across the IIUM Holdings group.
