Ceremony Honouring Prospective Hajj Pilgrims 1446H
KUANTAN – A deeply blessed atmosphere surrounded the ceremony honouring the Duyufurrahman IIUM Holdings pilgrims who will be departing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for the 1446H season. This special programme was held on 30 March 2025 and organised by the group subsidiary, IIUM Medical Specialist Centre (IMSC), as a mark of respect and moral support for staff selected to become guests of Allah SWT.
The ceremony was attended by senior leaders of the IIUM Holdings Group of Companies who were also selected as Duyufurrahman IIUM Holdings pilgrims. Among the key individuals honoured were YBhg. Dato Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak (Group Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer), Mr Zahari Salleh (Group Chief Financial Officer), and Puan Norsuhada Ab Malek (Group Company Secretary). Their presence, together with their spouses, added to the joy of the occasion, which also honoured medical specialists from IMSC as well as staff from IKOP Pharma and Daya Bersih.
The Duyufurrahman IIUM Holdings ceremony began with a welcoming address by IMSC Chief Executive Officer, Mr Yasser Arafat Ishak. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to honour prospective Hajj pilgrims among the Group staff before their departure to the Holy Land. As a symbol of support, a token presentation session was held to recognise the dedication of the pilgrims who will carry the good name of the organisation to a global stage through the Hajj pilgrimage.
Beyond honouring the prospective pilgrims, the Duyufurrahman IIUM Holdings ceremony was further enriched by a personal zakat contribution from YBhg. Dato Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak. This contribution was channelled specifically to staff at IIUM Medical Specialist Centre, IKOP Pharma, and Daya Bersih as a mark of his concern for staff welfare. This sincere initiative reflects the value of compassion that forms the core of the work culture under IIUM Holdings Sdn Bhd.
Management of Duyufurrahman IIUM Holdings prays that all preparations and matters relating to the Hajj pilgrimage for the prospective pilgrims are made easy by Allah SWT. May every step taken by these guests of Allah be blessed with good health, peace of mind, and ultimately a Hajj Mabrur upon their return. It is hoped that the goodness and brotherhood forged through this ceremony will continue to be a source of ongoing blessings for the entire IIUM Holdings Group of Companies.
