Dhuyufurrahman IIUM Holdings: Hajj Pilgrims & Brotherhood Celebration
GOMBAK – IIUM Holdings Group of Companies held a special ceremony to honour its Dhuyufurrahman IIUM Holdings pilgrims who will be performing the Hajj pilgrimage for the 1447H season. The programme, held on Friday, 24 April 2026, took place at The Royale Banquet Hall, IIUM Cultural Centre. The ceremony was not only intended to pray for the pilgrims, but also served as a platform for the IIUM Holdings Staff Brotherhood Strengthening Session 2026.
The attendance of the Group Board of Directors, senior management, and staff from various departments added to the lively atmosphere of the ceremony. Combining the Dhuyufurrahman IIUM Holdings celebration with a community potluck session reflects the strong sense of family spirit within the organisation. This harmonious atmosphere allowed every staff member to interact more closely while enjoying food prepared and shared together.
The ceremony began with a welcoming address by YBhg. Dato Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of IIUM Holdings. Attendees were then given spiritual enrichment through a religious talk titled "Lessons of Hajj," delivered by Ustaz Abdul Karnaen bin Hakim from IIUM Schools. The talk focused on the mental and spiritual preparation required of every individual selected as a Dhuyufurrahman IIUM Holdings pilgrim.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of gifts to the prospective Hajj pilgrims as a symbol of support from the company. This session was carried out by YBhg. Dato Dr. Suzana Idayu Wati Osman, accompanied by YBhg. Dato Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak and YBhg. Academician Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail. The ceremony also saw a personal zakat contribution by YBhg. Dato Ahmad Nadzarudin to the IIUM Endowment Fund, as well as to Puan Hafina binti Mahidi, as part of efforts to support community welfare.
Management hopes this initiative to honour the Dhuyufurrahman IIUM Holdings pilgrims will continue to inspire and motivate staff. We pray that all pilgrims are blessed with good health throughout their time in the Holy Land and are granted a Hajj Mabrur.
