IIUM Gombak Iftar Pack: IIUM Holdings Group Sponsors SHAS Mosque

GOMBAK – IIUM Holdings Group has officially committed to sponsoring the IIUM Gombak Iftar pack at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (SHAS) Mosque for the upcoming month of Ramadan. This initiative, under the Kasih Ramadan program, will provide nutritious meals for students, staff, and the local community to break their fast throughout the holy month.
The sponsorship was confirmed today during a Mock Cheque Presentation Ceremony at the mosque. Our Group Managing Director/CEO, YBhg. Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak, handed over the contribution to Ustaz Muhammad Ramadhan Subky Bin Abdullah, the Imam 1 and Senior Religious Officer of the SHAS Mosque. This sponsorship is a core part of the Group’s efforts to support the university’s spiritual hub during its busiest period of the year.
By sponsoring the IIUM Gombak Iftar pack, IIUM Holdings Group aims to support the mosque’s logistical needs and help the community during the fasting month. The SHAS Mosque is a central point for thousands of students and congregants, and ensuring a steady supply of meals is a priority for the Group. This effort is part of our mission to provide real value to the Ummah and help those in need during this blessed time.
The ceremony was attended by the Group CFO, Encik Zahari Salleh, along with other senior management members and department heads. Their presence shows the collective commitment of the entire IIUM Holdings family toward social responsibility and community welfare. We believe that by providing the IIUM Gombak Iftar pack, we can foster a stronger sense of togetherness and ease the burden on students who are away from their families.
As Ramadan 2026 approaches, the Group remains focused on the spirit of giving. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this sponsorship and will continue to look for ways to serve the IIUM community. This partnership with the SHAS Mosque is a long-standing tradition that we are proud to uphold, ensuring that the essence of Ramadan is felt by everyone on campus.
