IIUM Higher Education Students Receive Rahmah MADANI Ramadan Aid
Kolej Islam Antarabangsa, managed by IIUM Higher Education Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of IIUM Holdings, was among the institutions selected to receive assistance under the Rahmah MADANI Ramadan: Jom Balik Raya Bersama Mahasiswa programme.
The programme was held at Universiti Malaya on 13 March 2026 and organised by the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council, MAIWP. It supports eligible students travelling home to celebrate Aidilfitri with their families.
The programme was officiated by YB Senator Dr Zulkifli bin Hasan, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), who also presented contributions to students from Kolej Islam Antarabangsa.
Afif Abd Rahman, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of IIUM Higher Education Sdn. Bhd., received the contribution on behalf of the college.
Through the programme, MAIWP is providing bus tickets, flight tickets and travel allowances to support 6,650 students from eight institutions. The total assistance amounts to RM1.99 million.
IIUM Holdings appreciates MAIWP and zakat contributors for supporting student welfare initiatives that help reduce travel costs during the festive period.
