IIUM Medical Specialist Centre (IMSC) is actively implementing the 5S program to enhance workplace organization and efficiency. This ongoing initiative focuses on five key principles: Sort (removing unnecessary items), Set in Order (organizing essential items for easy access), Shine (maintaining cleanliness and hygiene), Standardize (establishing procedures to sustain organization), and Sustain (ensuring adherence through continuous training and audits).
As part of this program, IMSC organized a Recycle Day on 5th and 6th June 2024 to promote sustainable practices. The 5S program aims to create a clean, safe, and efficient environment, leading to increased staff productivity, improved safety, higher employee morale, and a better overall patient experience, demonstrating IMSC’s commitment to excellence in healthcare services.
