Kasih Ramadan: IIUM Holdings Distributes Iftar Packs to Students and Community

GOMBAK – IIUM Holdings Group has officially launched its Kasih Ramadan initiative for the year 1447H. The program began on Friday, 20 February 2026, with the distribution of iftar packs to students and the local community. This annual effort is part of the Group’s commitment to supporting the welfare of those within the IIUM ecosystem during the holy month.
The first day of the Kasih Ramadan program saw hundreds of iftar packs delivered to two main locations. The contributions were distributed at Masjid Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (SHAS) in IIUM Gombak and to the students of the International Islamic College (IIC). By providing these meals, IIUM Holdings aims to ease the burden of students and ensure they have nutritious food to break their fast.
The success of the Kasih Ramadan distribution was made possible through the close cooperation of several departments. We would like to thank the staff of Masjid SHAS, UIAM Gombak, for their assistance in managing the crowd and the distribution process. We also extend our gratitude to the Student Activities and Accommodation Department (STADD) at IIC for their hard work in organizing the session for their students.
At IIUM Holdings, the Kasih Ramadan initiative is more than just a meal distribution program. It is a way for the Group to give back to the community and foster a spirit of togetherness. Such activities allow us to engage directly with students and understand their needs better. We believe that small acts of kindness can make a significant difference during this blessed month.
As the program continues throughout the month, we pray that all our efforts are accepted and that everyone’s fast and prayers are granted by Allah SWT. IIUM Holdings remains dedicated to carrying out meaningful social responsibility projects that benefit the community. We look forward to more successful sessions under the Kasih Ramadan banner in the coming weeks.
