New Computer Laboratories IIC Launched to Boost Digital Learning

KUALA LUMPUR, 27th January 2026 – IIUM Higher Education Sdn Bhd officiated their newly upgraded computer laboratories at the International Islamic College (IIC) in Batu Muda. This project was sponsored by FGV Prodata Systems Sdn Bhd and Yayasan FELDA under the FGV Group. This initiative shows a strong commitment to providing students with the digital tools they need to succeed in the future.
The laboratories were officially opened by YBhg. Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain, President of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). In his speech, Tan Sri highlighted that these new facilities are a testament to the successful partnership between the industry and the college. He noted that such cooperation is very important to prepare students for a digital world.
The event was attended by several top leaders, including YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Suzana Idayu Wati Osman (Chairperson of IIUM Holdings), YBhg. Dato’ Abdul Majit Ahmad Khan (Chairman of IIUM Higher Education), and YBhg. Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak (Group MD/CEO of IIUM Holdings). Their presence shows how much the Group values digital growth for its students.
Also present were YBrs. Encik Shaik Faridhudheen Anverdeen (CEO of IIUM Higher Education), Encik Shamsuri Abdul Rahman (CEO of FGV Prodata Systems), and Puan Izyani Abdul Rahim (General Manager of Yayasan FELDA). This donation has helped upgrade three laboratories at IIC. This partnership will help improve the standards of higher education and create a brighter future for all students.
