FRIM Inc visited ICISB

Gombak, 16 August 2024 – IIUM Consultancy and Innovation Sdn. Bhd. (ICISB) hosted a courtesy visit from FRIM Incorporated Sdn. Bhd. (FRIM Inc.) on August 16, 2024. The visit was led by FRIM Inc.’s Chief Operating Officer, Puan Mazdiana Mohd Zain, accompanied by Puan Wan Nur Aisyah, Lead Management of Consultancy Services, and Dr. Hamdan Omar, a key member of the Research Team.

During the visit, both organizations engaged in fruitful discussions, sharing insights and exploring synergies in their operations. Given the similar business models of both ICISB and FRIM Inc., which are centered on consultancy and innovation, the discussions opened doors to future collaborations. The exchange of ideas highlighted potential joint initiatives, especially in areas where the expertise of both entities align.

ICISB, previously known as IIUM Entrepreneurship and Consultancies Sdn. Bhd., has been at the forefront of consultancy services and training since its incorporation on 7th September 2001. The company specializes in providing expert consultation across a wide range of fields, including Economics, Management, Environmental Sciences, Islamic Revealed Knowledge, and Information Communication Technology, to name a few. ICISB also encompasses departments formerly known as the IIUM Centre for Continuing Education (ICCE) and IIUM Shariah Advisory Services (ISAS), now rebranded under its Academic and Human Development division.

Similarly, FRIM Inc., established in 2017 as a commercialization platform for FRIM’s R&D findings, focuses on business development strategies based on research-driven technologies and products. The company has been instrumental in promoting and marketing innovations, contributing significantly to Malaysia’s research and development ecosystem.

Commenting on the visit, ICISB representatives expressed optimism regarding the potential collaborations that could emerge between the two organizations. The session concluded on a positive note, with both parties looking forward to building strategic partnerships that leverage their respective expertise.

As ICISB continues to drive consultancy and innovation excellence, the visit marks another step forward in strengthening relationships within Malaysia’s consultancy landscape.
