Healthy Lifestyle for IIUM Educare kids during MCO 3.0

Malaysia is currently in Movement Control Order 3.0 as we have not yet been able to reduce the transmission rate of the Covid-19 pandemic. Various efforts have been made to reduce the contagion of this pandemic. However, the economic, essential, and education sectors remain in focus.

Therefore, IIUM Educare emphasizes virtual learning from home for our students. Our dedicated and creative teachers run PDPR (“Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran di Rumah”) every day. PDPR is conducted according to the subject schedule.

HEALTHY DIET FOR KIDS

Throughout the pandemic, parents must take care of their children’s food. They need to provide quality meals at home by providing nutritious food for them. This helps to develop and maintain their health while at home during this movement control order (MCO) 3.0.

Parents can prepare healthy food according to their creativity to attract their children in eating because healthy foods help to strengthen children’s immunity. Vitamin C is also good for their health and continues to encourage children to drink plenty of water at least 6-8 cups a day according to their age to prevent hydration.

HEALTHY ACTIVITIES

In addition, our teachers conduct virtual leisure and Zumba activities with the students. This can strengthen their relationship even via virtual session. We encourage parents to pray dua’ with their children and recite Quran together. This is a good spiritual activity with family members. It can strengthen family relationship. Apart from that, parents can tell stories about the prophets and teach the children to pray that this Covid-19 will quickly disappear with the help of God almighty.
