Staff Engagement: IIUM Holdings Team Conquers Hiking Trail
GOMBAK – The IIUM Holdings family focused on health and fitness during the second Staff Engagement session of 2026. On Friday afternoon, staff members traded their office shoes for hiking boots to explore the trails at the IIUM Gombak campus.
The program was originally planned as a 2.5 KM brisk walk but turned into a hiking session around the South Zone of the campus. Led by the Group MD/CEO, YBhg. Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak, the team moved through the trails located near the highway exit. This change made the weekly Staff Engagement more active and exciting for everyone involved.
The hiking session was guided by officers from the Office of Security Management (OSeM) IIUM to ensure the safety of all participants. At IIUM Holdings, we believe that a healthy team is a productive team. These Staff Engagement sessions are held to improve fitness and strengthen the bond between colleagues outside of the office.
Having the Group MD/CEO lead the session motivated the staff to keep a healthy lifestyle. This successful hike shows the Group’s effort to encourage a balanced work culture. IIUM Holdings will continue to organize Staff Engagement programs that support the health and well-being of our staff.
